The Second City Training Center will be offering a discounted Headshot Day for students on October 14th and October 15th (9am-5pm) with guest artist Sally Blood (www.sallybloodphoto.com). Sessions are 1 hour long and include a 15-minute corrective make-up session and 45-minute shoot. Each session is $200 ($75 deposit needed on day of reservation). Jo studied at the hand of Viola Spolin and was instrumental in the teaching of thousands upon thousands of young actors and improvisers. In today's Chicago Tribune, Chris Jones talks to Diana Martinez about our new venue in Piper's Alley – UP Comedy Club – scheduled to open on December 1. He writes, "Intended as a riff on stand-up comedy and the upstairs locale, the two-letter name will signify a new 300-seat theater carved from the space that used to house the long-running production of 'Tony n' Tina's Wedding.'
